  • Currency: The Barbadian Dollar (BBD) is readily available through ATMs. Credit cards are widely accepted at most restaurants and shops. $1 US = $2BBD. USD is accepted everywhere but only in small denominations

  • Weather: April is one of the best times to visit Barbados, falling within the island's dry season. Expect pleasant warm days with average highs around 30°C (86°F) and comfortable evenings averaging 24°C (75°F).

  • Getting Around: Taxis, buses, and car rentals offer flexibility to explore the island at your own pace. Consider how close your accommodation is to the wedding venue when booking.

  • What to Pack: Pack light, comfortable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, a hat, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes for exploring. No camouflage. Consider a light jacket for evenings and any planned activities.
